Pretty Little Things nos invita a visitar su mercadillo de tiendas en el parquecito de frente a el Salhiya Complex (mall plaza) de la city del 7 al 9 de enero 2014. En esta feria se dan cita, moda, joyería, regalos etc.... La chica que organiza este evento es una kuwaiti muy joven y llena de ideas. Es la misma que organiza el primer sábado del mes el Qout Market, mercado de productos frescos y orgánicos, que tanto éxito esta teniendo y seguro que sigue discurriendo que hacer para mantenernos ~~consumiendo~~ activas y disfrutando de lo que ofrece kuwait.

Another opportunity to visit Pretty Little things in Salhiya Mall Plaza, Kuwait City from the 7 to the 9 of January 2014. Here you will be able to find small shops with different things you can not find everywhere (this Global thing is making all of us look like machines and copycats) jewels, clothes, bags, stationary.... many things available for all curious people.

The girl that organices this is the same that does the so popular Qout Market every first saturday of the month in Arraya mall, she is full of ideas I am sure we will see much more of this girl this incoming year.

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
