Finding Your Purpose
By Aruna Ladva
Saturday 2nd November 2013, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

There is a reason for everything that has happened in your life thus far - see it as training if you like.  You were born to do something in the world – small or big, it doesn’t matter; but you were born to do something unique that only you can do.  What is that?  Once you have tapped into it, it’s like arriving home; you will feel a deep sense of calm and peace in your soul and flourish.

The Woman in Black Theatre in Kuwait

One World Actors Centre CIC presents “The Woman in Black”

Localwoman in black
Published on October 29th, 2013 | by Caesar (ENGAGE)
One World Actors Centre CIC is proud to present its theatrical production of ‘The Woman in Black’ at Box Hill College Kuwait from Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 October. There will be three performances, starting at 7.30pm on each day.
Proud and solitary, Eel Marsh House surveys the windswept reaches of the salt marshes beyond Nine Lives Causeway. Arthur Kipps, a junior solicitor, is summoned to attend the funeral of Mrs Alice Drablow, the house’s sole inhabitant, unaware of the tragic secrets which lie hidden behind the shuttered windows.
Years later, as an old man, he recounts his experiences to an actor in a desperate attempt to exorcise the ghosts of the past. The play unfolds around the conversations of these two characters as they act out the solicitor’s experiences on Eel Marsh all those years ago.

He vuelto encantada de la vida y puedo decir I LOVE DOHA.

I´ve been to Doha for the weekend I a come back very impressed by the city, the people and the good work they are doing to make Doha the next capital of the world.
I had the chance to visit the fantastic Islamic Museum and the Damian Hirst "Relics" exhibition such as the Souq with all those small and cosy shops, the cafes and a really good italian restarant Dolce Vita. I need more time off to visit this beautiful city

Taqaseem IV Exhibition in FA Gallery

Six Sirian Artists exhibition in Tilal Gallery

A walk around Tilal Gallery

Made in China con look british

Harmony house English Seminar "Stop Worrying and Star Living!"

English seminar “Stop Worrying and Start Living!”
                           by Pavitra Sangwan
Why worry (and stop living) when the thing that you worry about has not happened yet?  When our mind become preoccupied with worrying thoughts, we stop being aware of the goodness around us and as a matter of fact good things could even elude our attention and disappear from our lives completely thereby fulfilling the very prophecy of what we worry about!
Pavitra will share with you the technique of thought management and Raja Yoga meditation that can help anyone from all walks of lives better manage their thought, worry less (or none at all) and start living a fulfilling life at every moment.

Making Mountains into Molehills

Many people have the habit of making molehills into mountains. They like to amplify things, giving them more weight than necessary and making them bigger than life. But does this type of attitude and vision really serve us?
How many times have we found ourselves fretting about small situations that don’t really matter that much at all?
If one has a hyperbolic vision they will almost always blow things out of proportion. Everything gets exaggerated and there is no excitement or adrenalin rush if it’s not! Almost like living out a fantasy or fairy tale of adventure and heroism and making everything a big drama!
Another reason for making things bigger than they are is because of fear. In a recent survey it was found that 94 per cent of our fear is imagined, in other words it has very little basis in reality. Because of our fear, we then also create fear in others. Fear and anxiety can only create more of the same. Do we realize that as we send our imagination off into these realms, we are also becoming creators of our reality as we subtly invoke those scenarios (mostly negative) towards us.
In fact going into the expansion of a situation is easy: we can gain a lot of attention by exaggerating small matters, and this is why for some people it is almost an addiction. It’s only ‘small minds’ that make small things big. By contrast, making big things small is an art; it takes maturity, wisdom and a certain amount of self-discipline. To make ‘big things small’ is usually the sign of a person who can manage themselves and therefore is more easily able to manage the situations around them. As we ‘grow bigger’ in this way, we are able to better cope with these situations as we become greater or ‘bigger’ than the situation itself.
It is very freeing to the soul to let go of old attitudes, preconceptions, remembered hurts and grudges from the past. If we don’t they can dilute and pollute every moment of action which we are about to perform.
Our vision too is not innocent. We so often look for the negative, for someone to blame, or we tend to find fault with something or someone. If we expand in this way, we are not helping ourselves. If we can just accept the moment for what it is and not bring in memories from the past and fears for the future, then it becomes much easier to apply a full stop.
For whatever reason we tend to exaggerate: whether it is out of panic, fear or simply a desire to dramatize, we have to realize that our Ego is in control of us at that moment. We cannot master a situation if we are slaves to our overblown emotions.
If we are grounded in a real sense of who we are: if we are calm, controlled and peaceful, if we are relaxed and centred, then instead of throwing fuel on the fire we will sprinkle cool water on a situation. We remain stable and make others around us feel safe and secure.
In one second we can allow ourselves to indulge in a rampage of thinking, where one thought leads to another and another and another… or in the same second we can decide to apply the brakes and call a halt to the waste of thoughts, time and energy. Be essenceful. The more we go into expansion of the situation or event, the more life we give to it. If something is not that important, then let it go. Learn to put a full stop, question marks are more difficult to shape and curve, full stops are easier!
It’s time… to stop making mountains out of molehills and to learn to to put a full stop. Before you go into expansion, ask yourself whether it’s necessary to do so, or is it better to save your time, energy and self-respect? As we make the mountain into a molehill, we become greater for it!
Share these thoughts! ‘It’s Time…’ is spreading far and wide! Feel free to forward this wisdom, but to avoid any karmic rebound, please acknowledge its source –

I am sure you also know about the cheap Chinese shops all over the world where you can get all that stuff you really dont need but look cute in those shops. Inside the CityCenter in Salmiyah there is one of a kind, instead of being chinese it is Japanese and you can find many things for cooking, japanese cuttlery and kitchenware, bowls, toys, and many other things. If this have no price on it, it´s 600fills if not the price is not far from this.  Enjoy your shopping with this tip I got from my friend Eva years ago!

I am willing to talk you about the next openings in Arabella, but I think there is still a long way to go there, just Costa Coffee has added to the short list of two restaurants already opened; The Red Lobster and Olive Garden have been working for months but the rest altough they look well advanced I think it will still take some time to open.
Here you have some photos of the place for all of you who have not been there yet.

Paul Heritage Kuwait Reopening

Os dejo su dirección;
PAUL
Salwa, Block 11, Street 10 house 28

Paul, from Paul Heritage, has found in Dina´s family in who to relay his 40 year old business. He was thinking the idea of living more time in Indonesia or whereever he told me he had hs fruits plantation. He is still advising them and looking for good peaces of furniture for this new family in charge if the shop. Now she doesnt have much but I am sure that by the first of November when the next container arrives the shop will be full of clients and beautiful products to shop,

Address;
