The Grove es una palabra inglesa que significa el bosquecito y el restaurante/cafetería que os presento hoy quiere que te sientas como si estuvieras en él. The Grove es una preciosa terraza interior llena de plantas, árboles, casitas de madera para pájaros, jaulas y preciosa decoración en el mobiliario. Lo que mas sorprende es su ubicación, desde las ventanas puedes ver el edificio de la bolsa y hasta la Gran Mezquita de Kuwait City.
La carta no es muy variada todavía y para mi opinión algo cara. Por el momento son menus tipo desayuno; sandwiches, huevos benedict etc.
Cuando estuve ayer pude darme cuenta de que esta de moda, que es un sitio para ir arregladito, los Laboutin y Chanel desfilaban por el local como si tal cosa y que sería un lugar perfecto para tomarse un Manhattan rodeada de las protagonistas de Sex and The City, ¿Vamos?.
The Grove is a restaurant / cafe that wants you to feel like you're in a garden. The Grove is a beautiful indoor terrace filled with plants, trees, wooden houses for birds, cages and lovely decor and furnishings. The most surprising is its location, from the windows you have a fantastic view of the stock exchange building and of the Grand Mosque in Kuwait City.
The menu is not very complete because they are running a soft opening and still rather expensive in my opinion. By the now you can order breakfast menus such as sandwiches, eggs benedict etc.
Yesterday I realized that it is a cool and "must" in Kuwait, a place to go nonetheless, the Laboutin and Chanel paraded by local just like that and it would be a perfect place to take a Manhattan coctail with the girls in Sex and The City, shall we?.
