Teavana, la tienda de Té en Kuwait

¡Que fácil soy de conquistar!... He ido al Avenues a conocer la Fase III que abría hoy y he parado en Teavana. Ya sabéis que soy una fanática del té, me tomo al menos tres al día; un Earl Grey para desayunar, un Té verde con menta después de comer y una infusión digestiva por la noche. Me paso el día en el baño pero no importa por que me encantan las infusiones así que el ver que habían abierto una tienda de Té en Avenues me ha empujado a entrar.

Como a veces tengo hasta suerte un chico muy amable (el encargado de la tienda) me ha atendido y me ha dado una vuelta por la tienda para que la conociese entera. Me ha hablado de las propiedades antioxidantes del té, de como conservarlo, de las teteras de hierro fundido, de los preciosos accesorios, he visto las kettle que son mi pasión ya que las uso desde para hervir el agua del té hasta para tener el agua de unos macarrones lista en 3 minutos. Vamos que lo he pasado bomba viendo, tocando y probando.

I am so easy to spoil! ... Today I went to the Avenues Phase III that opened today and I stopped at Teavana. You know I'm a fan of tea, I take at least three a day, an Earl Grey for breakfast, a green tea with mint after lunch and digestive infusion in night. I spend the day in the bathroom but that's because I love the tea so the view that they had opened a tea shop in Avenues has pushed me to enter.

I have been quite lucky to find a very friendly guy (the store manager) that has treated me so well and has given me a tour of the store to know everything to know about Tea and Teavana. He talked about the antioxidant properties of tea, how to keep it, of cast iron teapots, the beautiful accessories, I have seen the kettle that is my passion and I use it not only to boil water from the tea but also to have the water ready for macaroni in 3 minutes. I have really enjoyed seeing, touching and tasting everything.

 

 

 

Este set de té en hierro se puede componer de las piezas y colores que tu desees. Se compra por piezas separadas. Las teteras por ejemplo tienen un precio desde 24KD y los platos o vasitos 5kd cada uno.

This iron set of pieces can be mixed with the colours or pieces you like. For example this tea pot costs 24kd and each plate or cup 5kd.

 

 

Cualquier tipo de té de excelente cantidad encontrarás aquí. Los precios son por peso y hay descuentos en estos segun las cantidades; 10%dto por medio kilo, 15% por un kilo y 20% por dos kilos o mas que no han de ser de la misma variedad.

Any kind of teas sold by weight. Prices get lower the moment you buy big amounts, 10% for half kilo, 15% for one kilo and 20% for two kilos or more this teas dont need to be the same variety.

 

La kettle eléctricas son la "caña" me encanta porque tienen incluso un botón para hervir el agua según el tipo de té que vayas a tomar. Además yo la uso para tener agua hervida lista para cocinar. La que parece un robot además hace té ahi y cuesta 94kd (el té lo dejas ahí mismo y se recaliente a medida que hace falta) la otra es la mas normal pero con opciones según el té y cuesta 39kd (esta es la mia, je je je)

 

Electric Kettles are the best solution to have your water ready in seconds for a tea. The fone in the left keeps tea always hot and it costs 94kd, the second one on the right boils the water to the teperature you need depending on the kind of tea you are going to take, it costs 39kd and you can also use it for boiling water for cooking, for example; pasta.

 

 

Las diferentes teteras aqui expuestas no han de ser usadas sobre el fuego si no que calientas el agua en tu kettle la pones en la tetera y luego si quieres mantienes caliente el té con un reposa teteras con una velita.

Different design of teapots that never should be used on top of the cooking fire in your kitchen. First boil the water in your kettle then put it inside the teapot and if you want to keep it warm use a special iron base with a candle inside it. So cool!!!

Diferentes tipos de termos de porcelana por dentro y los hay también de acero inoxidable por dentro y fuera. Como véis en la imagen de la derecha en su interior hay un colador para retirarlo con la hierba apoyarlo en la tapita y beber tu té en cualquier parte. ¡Una monada! Este cuesta 12kd.



 

Different kind of thermos to cary your tea with you. The purple one is ceramic inside and it costs 12kd. Is has a strainer inside so that you remove it, put on the cap of the thermo and take your tea anywhere. 

 

 En la tienda tambíen puedes pedir un té para llevar en vaso térmico con tapa. Desde 0.900kd hasta 1.400kd según el tipo de té. Esta idea me ha encantado. Tenía que haber preguntado a ver si también tenían té helado para take away.

 

In the same shop you can also get a take away tea. Prices begin in 0.900kd and depends on the quality of the tea. I would love to know if I can order a Ice Tea. I love this idea! No more soft drinks or coffee in my life while visiting The Avenues.
