Alfredo Palmero en Boushahri Gallery

La Galería Boushahri presenta este mes el precioso trabajo del pintor catalán Alfredo Palmero. Descendiente de una familia de gran tradición pictórica, Alfredo presenta esta colección inspirada en las Meninas de Velázquez.

Su obra está llena de color y sinceramente me ha encantado. Las pinturas de Las Meninas son de gran formato pero también hay obras de tamaño mediano con diferente temática que homenajea a otros pintores. El y su hermana Silvia quien le acompaña y ayuda en la gestión de las exposiciones estarán en la galería hasta el sábado así que no dudéis en acercaros a la sala para conocerles y ver su maravillosa pintura. Yo me quedaría con mas de uno. Aquí os dejo una pequeña muestra de lo que Alfredo pinta.

Boushahri Gallery in Salmiyah presents the exhibition by Alfredo Palmero. The series Meninas is inspired by Velázquez and is the base of his collection in Kuwait although you can see other kind of paintings in the show. He will be in the gallery until Saturday morning so go and visit him and see his fantastic work. Here you can see some of his pictures that have caught my eye.

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Carmen González, una española en Kuwait

Domingo 7 de Febrero de 2017 Entrevista a Carmen González Shammas, española y kuwaití por matrimonio. La historia de Carmen es una mas dentro de las mujeres occidentales casadas con kuwaitíes, pero por otro lado su historia es única. Su marido es de la minoría cristiana pero nunca se ha sentido rechazada ni observada por pertenecer a ese porcentaje tan pequeño, aunque sus hijas si lo han sentido cuando estaban creciendo en este país. Cuando conoces a personas como ella que llevan tanto tiempo aquí te saltan dudas sobre la forma de vivir de esta sociedad tan distinta a la nuestra.
