Shooting in Kuwait | Club de Tiro en Kuwait

Otra afición que tienen los Kuwaities compartida con otras nacionalidad aquí residentes es la de ir a pegar unos tiros. Existe una Federación de Tiro Kuwatí que pretende informar sobre este deporte; lugares de tiro y escuelas para aprender. Pertenece al gobierno y solo una parte de ella está en inglés así que si te interesa te das una vuelta y echas un vistazo.

En Internet he encontrado MAYADEEN PUBLIC SHOOTING RANGE que dicen ser los únicos autorizados por el Gobierno Kuwaiti y hablan en su web de la enorme inversión realizada y las modernas instalaciones que tienen. Están en el sexto anillo muy cerca del Sahara Club de Golf y del Club Ecuestre y abre de 5pm a 9pm.

Como no me gusta este deporte o mas bien le tengo mucho respeto no me he acercado nunca a verlo pero tengo amigos que si que lo hacen como distracción y dicen pasarlo muy bien.

Mi amigo Yousef, chicharrero casi como yo, me ha dado toda la información necesaria; Tienen zona de pistolas, de rifles, de rifles de franco tirador (que miedorrrrrrr) El precio es de 8 dinares para 20 balas de pistola, y los rifles por 8 dinares para 10 balas.

There is one more plan to do here in Kuwait, Shooting! I dont know the prices in other places in the world but here, for what I´ve seen, I think it is not that expensive. You can shoot pistols or rifles or even sniper rifles. The price for a pistol is 8kd por 20 bullets and for any kind of rifle 8kd for 10 bullets. There is a Kuwaiti Shooting Federation and a public shooting range called Mayadeen Public Shooting range in 6 ring road close to the Sahara Golf Club and the Equestrian Club.

I have never been there because I have so much respect for this kind of "toys" but my friend Yousef Al Jaouni has talked me about it and he has so much fun when he goes there. He has send me this photograph that I hope you will enjoy. Thanks Yousef!

Llevo varios días viendo la misma campaña de publicidad de la revista Marie Claire y ha sido mi hijo A* el que me ha contado que la prota era una de las dos mujeres que han representado a Kuwait en las olimpiadas de 2012 en Londres. Faye Sultan es la primera mujer en ir a las olimpiadas para la prueba de 50 mts libre de natación. U ltimó su entrenamiento en el centro de alto rendimiento de Calella donde se grabó esta entrevista . Creo que quedó séptima. La chica es mona y la verdad es que el departamento de producción ha hecho un gran trabajo. Seguro que habéis visto su video del making off en NYC en todas las pantallas del país, y digo pantallas por que aquí la publicidad por todas partes se ofrece en movimiento a través de pantallas de tv (Leds, supongo). La moza tiene 18 años y mide 1.82 mts así que podría dedicarse a esto si con la natación o la universidad donde ha empezado este año no le va bien. Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it. And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta
