kyu.care takes care of me

He decidido cuidarme mucho mas por dentro y por fuera. 
Entre semana como mucha ensalada de quínoa y pollito a la plancha y he decidido que un día a la semana iré a la peluquería Kyu.care a hacerme alguna cosa.
Esta semana tenía necesidad imperiosa de tinte, manicura y pedicura. Me dejé llevar por Mirna con las uñas y por Thuraya para el color, arreglo del flequillo y peinado. Salí el jueves de la pelu que me comía el mundo. ¿Estas de acuerdo conmigo en que la rutina y la pereza te llevan a olvidarte a veces de ti misma? Pásate por Kyu.care y dejate querer.

I´ve decided to take care of myself not only inside but outside too. It always happens that I wake up so early take a quick shower get a dress and leave quickly to school that I dont take much care of myself. 
During the week I am taking nice quinoa salads and once a week I visit my favourite saloon in Kuwait, Kyu.care. 
This week I needed an emergeny refurbish; colour in my roots, manicure and pedicure. Mirna did her best in my biten nails and Thuraya a fantastic work in colour and fixing my almost home-made fringe. I left Kyu.care fealing the queen of the party.

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Carmen González, una española en Kuwait

Domingo 7 de Febrero de 2017 Entrevista a Carmen González Shammas, española y kuwaití por matrimonio. La historia de Carmen es una mas dentro de las mujeres occidentales casadas con kuwaitíes, pero por otro lado su historia es única. Su marido es de la minoría cristiana pero nunca se ha sentido rechazada ni observada por pertenecer a ese porcentaje tan pequeño,   aunque sus hijas si lo han sentido cuando estaban creciendo en este país.  Cuando conoces a personas como ella que llevan tanto tiempo aquí te saltan dudas sobre la forma de vivir de esta sociedad tan distinta a la nuestra. Con ella recorreremos un poco de la historia de Kuwait, sobre todo desde que en 1993 puso un pie aquí ¿Cómo nace tu relación con Kuwait? Conocí a mi marido hace 34 años en Londres mientras los dos estudiábamos. Nos casamos en  Madrid   y nos instalamos a vivir en Londres. Durante 8 años vivimos en U.K. y allí tuvimos a nuestras dos hijas...
