More about the day…
Morning sessions: Start your morning with a class in Power Yoga taught by Warqa and Shareefa. The class emphasizes listening to your own body, realizing its potential and understanding its limitations to progress in your practice. This class will be very energetic and you will definitely sweat! If you like to hold deep postures while still flowing from one pose to another, synchronizing movement and breath, then continue with Vinyasa Flow offered by Nouf and Salman. Both classes are mixed.
Afternoon sessions: The afternoon sessions begin with Hatha Flow for ladies only by Mona. Mona strives to share creativity, compassion, attentiveness, and love through asana, pranayama, meditation, and song. She is inspired by the different ways in which we can inform our lives and actions through the practice of yoga, transforming ourselves and our relationships with the world, and hopes to share this with her students in a meaningful and thoughtful way. Closing the afternoon will be Shaikha’s Iyengar yoga with strict observance on proper alignment. Shaikha is a healer. She uses Yoga, Reiki, and Buddho to heal the Body, Mind, and Soul. This is a mixed class.
Kids’ Yoga: Parallel to the adults’ yoga will be kids’ yoga taught by Sundus in the morning for ages 3-6 and Amerah and Hyma in the afternoon for ages 7-12 and 5-15 respectively. Sundus’ kids yoga focuses on movements to help children’s overall growth, mentally, physically and spiritually. Amerah practices the philosophy & ideology of mental & physical wellness. She believes in the importance of teaching our children not the “what” but the “why” of life through the teachings of Yoga. Competent in various forms of yoga and acupressure, Hyma is an experienced yoga professional specializing in weight, stress management, pre- and post natal yoga, sports yoga and kids yoga.

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Palestinian Cultural Center Exhibition

This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
