ResponderEliminarAl leer este anuncio, me ha picado la curiosidad por saber que era eso del "Abolish Article 153". Me he quedado de piedra y creo que merece la pena explicar en que consiste este artículo. El artículo 153 del código penal de Kuwait, da a los hombres de manera efectiva el poder regulador, judicial y ejecutivo sobre sus parientes mujeres, saltándose a la torera la Constitución, los acuerdos internacionales sobre derechos humanos y los derechos de la mujer e incluso la Sharia islámica.
Esta ley establece que cualquier hombre que sorprenda a su madre, hermana, hija o esposa practicando sexo con un hombre (zinna) y mata al hombre, a la mujer en cuestión o a ambos, será acusado de un delito menor, punible con un máximo de 3 años de cárcel y / o una multa de 3.000 rupias (KD 225).. De traca. Es curioso, me ha recordado que no hace tanto tiempo, en España salía más caro saltarse un semáforo que mandar a tu mujer al hospital de una paliza.
