El Macareno en la biblioteca nacional

Si algo nos dejó anoche a todos con la boca abierta y con ganas de visitar Córdoba lo antes posible fue la magnifica interpretación de la guitarra española de José "El Macareno" y la preciosa voz de su compañero de gira Alberto.

Fui con unos amigos Kuwaities que no paraban de dar palmas o acompañar el ritmo con sus pies. ¡Fue algo precioso! Además tuvimos la suerte de poder estrenar el maravilloso salón de conciertos de la Biblioteca Nacional de Kuwait que ofreció un sonido perfecto y una cercanía con los músicos fuera de cualquier comparación. Nunca había sentido la música de esta manera. Yo también estoy ansiosa por visitar el tablao de El Macareno "Arte y Sabores de Córdoba".

La nota graciosa de la velada la dio el que al encender el aire acondicionado una capa de polvo cayera sobre todos nosotros. El cantante decidió cambiar el título de la obra que estaba tocando por "tormenta de arena".
Por último no quiero dejar de aprovechar esta oportunidad para felicitar a la Embajada de España en Kuwait y en especial a Gabriel Alou por el magnifico trabajo realizado y le animo a seguir así  permitiendonos compartir de esta manera nuestra cultura con la gran cantidad de amigos Kuwaities y de otras nacionalidades deseosos de conocer mas sobre nuestro país.

If anything last night left us all overwhelmed and eager to visit as soon as possible Cordoba was the magnificent performance of the Spanish guitar Jose "El Macareno" and the beautiful voice of his tour mate Alberto.

I went with some Kuwaiti friends that kept on clapping or following the rithm with their feet. It was beautiful! We also had the good fortune to release the wonderful concert hall of the National Library of Kuwait that offered a perfect sound and a closeness to the musicians out of any comparison. Music never felt this way. I am also eager to visit the tablao of El Macareno "Art and Taste of Cordoba".

The funny note of the evening was given by that switching on the air conditioning a layer of dust fall upon us all. The singer decided to change the title of the work he was playing for "Sandstorm".

Finally I do wish to take this opportunity to congratulate the Embassy of Spain in Kuwait and especially Gabriel Alou for the wonderful work and I encourage him to go on this way leting us share our culture with the many Kuwaiti friends and from places eager to learn more about our country.
