Green Caravan Film Festival

Por cuarto año se presenta el festival de cine "The Green Caravan Festival" desde hoy 9 de Marzo y hasta el día 12 de este mes en Bait Lothan se presentarán las siguientes películas algunas de ellas premiadas;

-Chasing Ice . Ganadora en el Festival de Sundance
-If a Tree Falls. Nominada a los Oscar
-The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom. Nominada a los Oscar.
-The City Park.
-The Island President

We are back with a fourth season of films that will knock your organic socks off!
"The Green Caravan Film Festival" will be screening a lineup of award winning films in the open courtyard of Bayt Lothan in Kuwait, March 9-12 and in The Pavilion in Dubai, March 14-15.

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it. And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
