OBESITY IN KUWAIT

Con este tema de la obesidad en Kuwait tenemos para mucha conversación/posts ya que esto de tenerlo todo resuelto, no estar acostumbrados a caminar o moverse (recordar que bailar esta prohibido) y la poca afición por el deporte hace que el 42% de la población Kuwaití sufra de obesidad. Lo dice el kuwaiti Times en su edición impresa de hoy sábado 12 de Mayo de 2012.

Dietistas, nutricionistas, fabricantes de comida orgánica, sin sal, sin azucar...... españoles!! Aquí hay negocio.

Obesity is one of the big problems of the Kuwaiti population. The little movement they do (dont forget that in Kuwait dancing is forbiden), having people to do everything for you and the lack of fondness fot the sports make this country people have a 42% of obesity.

Dietitians, nutritionists, producers of organic food, no salt, no sugar ...... Spanish producers! Here you can make your new business.

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
