Lakeland in Kuwait

Hoy he tenido que ir a Marina Mall a por unos regalitos para las profes del cole por que así es como aquí se estila y aunque no estoy muy de acuerdo en el caso de las dos profes de mis niños creo que era un merecido premio. He comprado unos pañuelos en Zara Home, que por cierto aquí ya esta de rebajas pero no os creáis que ningún chollo, en rebajas aquí cuesta lo mismo o un poco mas que en España a precio normal pero no me quedaba otra que pasar por el aro.....

Bueno pues paseando por Marina Mall en Salmiyah e he topado con esta tienda británica de nombre; Lakeland y me ha encantado. Son cosas de cocina; todo tipo de moldes, tablas de cocina, coladores, abridores de latas, botellas etc... para hacernos la vida mas fácil pero encima mono!!!

Here is quite normal to get a present for the teacher when your kids finish school, so today I have been in Marina Mall buying some scarfs for them and after that and a Starbucks coffee I have discovered Lakeland, a fantastic shop with many stuff for the kitchen; pushpans and regular pans, ice cream makers, bowls, piping sets and bags, spatulas all you need to make the cooking easy but also cute!!

Porta bananas, todo un invento aunque me gustan mas las que compro en Bilbao.

And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
