Alucinante lo que os voy a contar ahora; los que vivis aquí sabéis que el respeto al peatón se lo pasan por....... Los kuwaities y las personas con dinero no caminan así que ni aceras, ni pasos de cebra ni nada de nada para el peaton. Cerca del colegio hay un paso de peatones y cuando esta en rojo y me paro, me pitan por que lo normal es no pararse y que los indios se la juegen cruzando, Ch* vió un atropello a un peatón por que no le quedaba otra opción que cruzar o caminar 2kms hasta el mas cercano paso a nivel y a 40 grados de calor, como que es hasta comprensible....... Pues ayer viernes mi nany se dirigía a misa a la catedral de Kuwait city y cruzó la calle en grupo por donde pudo. Un coche de policía los paró a todos, les pidió su documento de identidad y los multó por no pasar por un paso de cebra. ¡¡¡Si en Kuwait no hay pasos de cebra!!! Tengo un enfado que ni os imagináis, me parece del todo racista y abusivo. Estos pobres que ganan menos de 70kd al mes, que les han subido el billete de bus de 200 a 250 fills por trayecto (en un mes han de pagar al menos 15kd de transporte) que se juegan la vida para edificar gloriosos edificios, que limpian nuestras casas, barren nuestras calles y un sin fin de labores que a nadie le apetece hacer y siempre lejos de sus familias y viviendo de comer arroz. Que van a comer si con los 70kd que ganan han de pagar su habitación, el transporte, su comida y además mandan algo a casa para que sus hijos vayan al cole, al médico, coman...... Que verguenza de país ¿y este es el novenos pais mas rico del mundo? Pues no se nota :(
I am seriously annoyed with this country, things like this that I am going to talk you about make me want to leave this country inmediately. Yesterday my maid was going to the church in Kuwait City when the police stopped her and a big group of indian people and asked them for their civil id. They put them all a fine for crossing the road where they should not, as if there where zebra crossings in Kuwait where to cross safely!!!!. I am very dissapointed. This poor people earn less than 70kd a month, they´ve rised the price for the one way ticket from 200 fills to 250 fills, they spend more or less 15kd in transport, they have to eat, they have to pay for the rent where they sleep sometimes sharing even the beds, they send money to their countries and I imagine not much more they can do. They build our houses and skyscrapers, they clean our houses, do the work no one wants to do and this is the way this country pay back??? This is one of the most wealthiest countries in the world but it doesnt look like.
