C Lounge Restaurant inside C Club

Eran rumores lo que había por Kuwait, "Hay un cocinero español en el exclusivo C Club". Un cocinero de Barcelona que hace comida de autor y con carta blanca para olvidar las hamburguesas grasientas y las pizzas en los menus de piscina del club. Y yo que soy de buen comer andaba deseando conocerle. Tuve mi oportunidad hace unos meses de presentarme pero hasta la semana pasada no pude reservar e ir a cenar. 
La cena en C Lounge dentro de C Club en Bidaa, fue al aire libre en la magnifica terraza del club, con las palmeras, la piscina y la luna llena. Ideal para una cena con amigos.
La comida exquisita, comimos de tapas; ensalada con patata, foie a la plancha, croquetitas de boletus, langostinos en salsa de dátiles, una deliciosa paella de marisco y no se cuantas cosas mas. 
Si queréis ir tenéis que llamar para reservar, no se puede ir sin reserva sin ser socio, por ello llama a Bernat al número 9941 2613 y el anotará invitados a cenar. El precio por persona esta entre 10 y 15kd y de verdad merece la pena.
C Club esta en el lateral derecho del Movenpick de Bidaa al final, sobre la playa (mirando el Movenpick de frente a la derecha en lado que da a Regency Hotel. 

I had heard something about a spanish chef in Kuwait but had never met him, but last june I had the chance to know him at a spanish gathering. Chef Bernat is a young creative chef. His fantastic menu is served at the C Lounge Restaurant at the super top C Club in Bidaa. If you want to try his kitchen call 9941 2613 and ask him for a reservation as the club is private and you may not get in with out an invitation. Now that the weather is getting better for outdoor dinners is the moment to visit the restaurant, don´t miss the foie, the seafood paella or everything in the menu. Prices range between 10 and 15kd per person. 
C Club is over the sea in the left side of Movenpick, if you have the sea at your back, in the side of the Regency Hotel.

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.
