Remembering Nelson Mandela...
We are remembering Nelson Mandela, who inspired the world with his unlimited capacity to forgive. His 27 years in prison on Robben Island gave him the experience of deep silence. Those who have this experience of inner silence, come to understand what it means to forgive and forget. His life became valuable because he offered the world this inspiration – that when we forgive and forget completely we can achieve true unity and brotherhood.

"New Meanings on Words"
English Seminar by Peter Williams
Saturday 14th Dec, 7:30pm to 9:00pm
Venue: Harmony House
Have you ever noticed how we take words for granted? When we stop and look closely at words, we discover that there are beautiful new meanings or meanings that have been forgotten. For example: ‘forgive’ meaning ‘for giving’, ‘atmosphere’ meaning the soul’s energy that it brings to each moment, ‘sunshine’ meaning your sunny disposition and ‘presence’ meaning the ‘essence of you’.
This evening, we will share everyday words and their new or forgotten meanings that will help to uplift our spirit; and practice how we can bring these new meanings into our lives through visualization and meditation.

This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
