Neck & Neck in Kuwait

Una de mis marcas preferidas de ropa para niños ha abierto tienda en Discovery mall (el mall para niños que está al lado de las pistas de patinaje sobre hielo en el 1er anillo)

Tienen ropa ideal para niños hasta 11/12 años, para mas mayor solo conseguiría que me hijo se pusiese alguna camiseta o pantalón. El vestuario de clásico para que tus niños vayan arreglados sin dejarte una fortuna en ello. También tienen ropa informal como vaqueros y camisetas pero siempre sin estridencias, colores chillones o personajes de disney en ellas.

Los precios de Neck & Neck siempre han sido mas altos que cualquier otra de las cadenas de tienda pero también la calidad es mejor y los diseños destacan sobre Zara Kids, Bomboli, Gocco (otra de mis favoritas) GAP Kids etc...

He de añadir (para dar un toque mas personal al post) que odio el color negro en los niños, que no sacaría a mis niños en chandal a la calle ni jarta de grifa (jajajaja, cuantos años sin usar esta expresión) que a mi hija le pongo lazo en la cabeza combinado con su vestuario y me encanta porque esta guapísima con el, que la mezcla de colores en niños me mata a la vista, las camisetas con dibujos animados son espantosas, que las marcas de lujo en niños me parece la horterada del siglo, que comprarles la ropa una o dos tallas mas grandes para que les dure la ropa les hace descuidados y mal vestidos.. y seguro que me he dejado algo....

I also want to add to my post to make it more personal that I would never take my kids out wearing sports clothes (not even for the airplane, i´ve seen many things....), I love dressing my girl with a ribbon in her hair combining with her clothes, the mix of colours in kids give me a cruel headache and that dressing kids with luxury brands is the most tacky thing in the world, and I dont like either putting them clothes one or two sizes bigger......

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it. And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
