Help the Phillipines

Impresionada me quedé ayer cuando fui a misa Ya al llegar noté que había mas ambiente del habitual y cuando al entrar me encontré todas estas cajas con destino a Filipinas casi me pongo a llorar..... y yo que ando recaudando fondos para la nueva catedral de Bahrein a través del rastillo del 7 de Diciembre!!! :( Shame on me. Toda esta gente necesita de nuestra ayuda. Estamos a tiempo, puedes llevar tu ropa (por favor, abstenerse de traer bikinis o cholas impares) a la Catedral de Kuwait o a la Embajada de Filipinas que esta en Jabriya muy cerca del Mubarak Hospital. Mantas, sábanas, ropa en buen estado... supongo que hasta medicinas no caducadas....
  
You are still on time to send your help to Phillipines in the way of clothes and blankets, I was drilled to see all this people prepearing boxes and boxes of stuff that they had collected to help their belovers and compatriots. Yes you are still on time!!!!! You can send your help to the Catholic Cathedral in Kuwait City or to the Phillipines Embassy in Jabriya.

Palestinian Culture Center www.palestinianculture.org Pincha aquí / click here para ver la ubicación del evento  Este era de mis planes favoritos cuando vivía en Kuwait, me han enviado la información del evento e inmediatamente he pensado en compartíroslo, ya que compartir es de guapas, como dice La Vecina Rubia.  No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas.  This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...
