2nd Hand Book Store | Librería de 2nda mano

En Bait Lothan han recuperado una antigua librería de segunda mano. El anterior dueño vendió su colección de mas de 15000 libros a la nueva librera. En Q8Bookstore encontrarás todo tiempo de secciones. Pocas cosas en español u otros idiomas, por no decir casi nada y pocas cosas en árabe. Por lo que si estas interesad@ en comprar libros en inglés este es tu sitio. Con tus compras acumulas un saldo a tu favor que se te descontará de tu próxima compra y con tus donaciones recibes un saldo para que intercambies por nuevos libros. La idea es que los libros se muevan de mano en mano y todos disfrutemos de la lectura.

La gerente del local se llama Hind y es muy agradable, controla bastante y podrá asesorarte si por ejemplo tienes dudas en cuanto a los libros para tus niños.

También me ha dicho que hay cuenta cuentos dos veces al día los sábados, a las 11am y a las 3pm y me irá enviando correos con los eventos que hagan. Tienen una zona infantil donde sentarte a leer con tus niños e inculcarles la lectura.

El acceso a la librería es por fuera, a la derecha de la entrada, os dejo foto para que lo ubiquéis rápido.

The q8bookshop has reopened in Kuwait through the hand of a new owner. Today I passed by and met Hind who talked me about this beautiful place where you can donate your books and take some credit for that and buy new ones. She knows about books and can suggest you what to get. The place is prepared for you to come with kids and enjoy reading.

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Carmen González, una española en Kuwait

La historia de Carmen es una mas dentro de las mujeres occidentales casadas con kuwaitíes, pero por otro lado su historia es única. Su marido es de la minoría cristiana pero nunca se ha sentido rechazada ni observada por pertenecer a ese porcentaje tan pequeño, aunque sus hijas si lo han sentido cuando estaban creciendo en este país.
