Visita a Jardín Botánico | Amiri Botanical Garden Bayan

No fuimos muchas a visitar el Jardín Botánico pero la verdad es que estuvo muy agradable. La visita puede hacerse corta, un día que tengas un ratito te pasas y te relajas en el maravilloso ambiente que han generado. 3 espacios separados con diferentes zonas del mundo representadas: un clima tropical, otro mediterráneo y uno mas asiático. Todo muy cuidado.

Solo abren los jueves de 9 a 13 hrs porque es el jardín que el emir enseña a sus visitas. Un "must" en tu agenda antes de irte de Kuwait.

Los festivos religiosos como el próximo del 5 de Mayo no abren.

You must not miss a visit to the Bayan /Amiri Botanical Garden in Bayan. It´s a fantastic place to relax and breath a little bit of fresh air, so difficult to find some times in Kuwait. The place is not big so you dont need to organise a full morning there, if you have the chance of passing by any thursday between 9 and 13 hrs give yourself a break and come in. 3 different spaces with plants from different climates; Mediterranean, tropical and asiatic. Don´t miss it.

And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Olímpicas en Londres | Olympics in London

Llevo varios días viendo la misma campaña de publicidad de la revista Marie Claire y ha sido mi hijo A* el que me ha contado que la prota era una de las dos mujeres que han representado a Kuwait en las olimpiadas de 2012 en Londres. Faye Sultan es la primera mujer en ir a las olimpiadas para la prueba de 50 mts libre de natación. U ltimó su entrenamiento en el centro de alto rendimiento de Calella donde se grabó esta entrevista . Creo que quedó séptima. La chica es mona y la verdad es que el departamento de producción ha hecho un gran trabajo. Seguro que habéis visto su video del making off en NYC en todas las pantallas del país, y digo pantallas por que aquí la publicidad por todas partes se ofrece en movimiento a través de pantallas de tv (Leds, supongo). La moza tiene 18 años y mide 1.82 mts así que podría dedicarse a esto si con la natación o la universidad donde ha empezado este año no le va bien. Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.
