Sobre la humedad

En los cinco años que llevo viviendo en Kuwait no había visto algo así con la humedad. Me han tocado días de mucho calor y de humedad, pero una semana seguida no hay quien lo aguante. Para los que ven la temperatura desde fuera de Kuwait los 38*C pueden sonar a fácil de llevar, pero cuando en estas fechas del año la temperatura es esa es porque la humedad esta atacando. Para los nuevos, hasta noviembre (incluido) el tiempo será de calor así que no desesperéis que no sirve de nada.
Hoy quería sacar una foto a los niños en su primer día de cole y se me ha empañado hasta la cámara del movil, y que decir de las gafas de sol, bueno los besos y abrazos con mis amigas han sido de lo mas pegajosos, si ya lo digo yo, así no hay quien viva......  
¿Os pasa a vosotros también que por el aire acondicionado os pasáis el día en casa con el moquillo y una Rebequita puesta? Seguro que no soy la única.

Over this five years I haven't seen anything like this regarding to humidity. I can promise you this is the first time and I hope it doesn't take long to finish. You may see in the forecast of the weather that the temperature is not rising to more than 40degrees but when this happens in September it means humidity!
By the way, am I the only one with a runny nose and wearing a wool jacket at home, I hate AC but in Kuwait you can not live with out it.

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Palestinian Culture Center www.palestinianculture.org Pincha aquí / click here para ver la ubicación del evento  Este era de mis planes favoritos cuando vivía en Kuwait, me han enviado la información del evento e inmediatamente he pensado en compartíroslo, ya que compartir es de guapas, como dice La Vecina Rubia.  No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas.  This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
