I have been living abroad for 10 years and I know how pleased family and friends back home will be to be given the yearly Family picture. It is also a great idea to give to cousins and friends of the kids as they don’t meet regularly.
I bought my first SLR camera when I was 17 years old, and have since then been passionate about photography.
I want the pictures to look casual, relaxed with fresh colors and light. I want the kids to have fun while I do my job, instead of a stiff studio picture. Shooting outdoor such as on the beach or in a park makes the kids relaxed and they can move freely. The beach and sea gives a fantastic feeling to the pictures, but is also a difficult location with the strong sunlight, therefore I always try to choose a timing in the morning or late afternoon when the sun is not so harsh.
A photo shoot normally takes 1 – 1 ½ hour, we might do a few different backgrounds, some people wants to change clothes, kids might need a snack. During a photo shoot I take several hundreds of pictures (thank you digital camera) and after the session with the customer my work continues by sorting out the bad pictures and then edit the good ones. I adjust the light and remove ugly objects, but I don’t Photoshop people. The high-resolution photos are delivered to the customer on a cd or an USB stick, and I offer them three printed pictures included in the price. My next step will be to team up with a printer that can also offer canvases, prints on glass or metallic, as well as photo books and soft albums.
Feel free to contact me to book your photo shoot !

Spanish fashion in Kuwait | Moda Española en Kuwait II parte

As we discussed in previous post, the Spanish fashion has a big representation here. Once again, the Inditex group is in all world and markets but "Not only of Zara can the human being dress", right? Companies such as Condor have been installed in this country for a long time and that for moms like me who like the quality and variety of brand socks is helpful (in Baroue find them). Hoss Intropia is also in Kuwait (In The Avenues Mall) rather more expensive than in Spain but the truth is that it's good to go to the store and see the richness of the fabrics and skill in designing clothes. I have a dress that once landed in Bilbao I'll see if I can still find it and buy it.  And we are also fortunate to have Adolfo Dominguez (also in The Avenues Mall) the store is huge and has the entire collection including U the young brand. Something I realy miss is a good brand of Spanish Shoes with good prices. We are lucky to have  Pretty Ballerinas and from time to time Casta...

Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

Palestinian Cultural Center Exhibition

This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
