Opening of Sabah Al AHmed Sea City Marina

En Khiran, al sur de Kuwait entrando por la 278 dirección mar han estado trabajando en un puerto marítimo nuevo ( Marina) y parece que están a punto de inaugurarlo. Me encanta la idea y no porque tenga barco para atracar allí pero si por la posibilidad de poder salir un poco de la ciudad y pasar el día fuera. Mas de una vez hemos bajado a las limpias playas artificiales, colándonos entre obras por terminar o por empezar y la experiencia siempre ha sido buena. Espero ir a verlo pronto, no el día de la inauguración, pero si pronto. Ya os contaré. Aviso importante, el acceso es por la 30/40 casi llegando a Arabia Saudi, hay que hacer un cambio de sentido para entrar por la 278. Mucho cuidado con esa carretera......

A ceremony preceding the opening of the largest marina in Kuwait is due to happen at Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City (Al Khiran) on the 16th and 17th of April.

Following 18 months of construction, this superb 5 star marina is about to open and will accommodate boats up to 40m.

The Thursday evening ceremony will consist of a formal opening with traditional entertainment and fireworks.

On the 17th, a tented exhibition and kids play area with refreshments will be available.

Colonia Kuwaiti para hombre | Kuwait 7711

No todos los olores hechos para Kuwait tienen Out entre sus componentes. Aquí os traigo esta colonia para hombres que mis chicos adoran llamada Kuwait 7711. Yo soy alérgica al Out por lo que esta colonia, que me recuerda a mi niñez y a mi abuelo, me encanta. La compró Br1 en la cooperativa no hace mucho y le costó 1.650 kd. También me parece un buen souvenir que llevarte de Kuwait para estas navidades. Cologne made in Kuwait, throughs me back to good memories of my grand Father. It´s quite cheap, 1.650 kd and you can get it from the coop, Shamiya. I also think its a good souvenir from Kuwait or even a gift for birthdays or Christmas.

No dejéis de comprar una de sus piezas de cerámica pintadas por mujeres Palestinas en exclusión, refugiadas y con vidas muy muy difíciles. Las aceitunas, los dulces y las galletas saladas eran mis favoritas. This was one of my favourite plans while living in Kuwait. This association helps women in social exclusion living in as refugees in Lebanon, don´t miss the exhibition and please buy one of the fabric pieces or handpainted pottery. And try their olives or biscuits... love them.
